People are put into your life to teach you something. You won't know the lesson, you won't understand why it's happening, but in the end it opens up a new door and you will see why it happened the way it did. I've gotten a curve ball thrown at me recently, something I never thought would happen, and I had to heal and learn from it. I am a better person because of it. Growth is what happens when trauma hits first. Your body fight or flight takes over and you do your best to protect yourself. Unfortunately sometimes that means shutting everyone out in order to keep your peace. You are allowed to take a break from life, but as long as you come back stronger and more knowledgeable, you're on the right path. The best advice I can give to someone who is going through a difficult time, make sure you have friends you can count on. Make sure you have someone who has your back and is willing to check up on you and spend hours on the phone if needed. Having a good support system makes all the difference. I could not imagine going through this alone. My friends and family have been here for me and have helped me get to the place I want to be! Life is tough, but so are you. You don't realize how much pain you can endure until you have no choice but to face it. Yes life has given me some crap, but I know now that I am a lot tougher than I seem and I know I can handle anything life throws my way. Not everyone has that. Not everyone can be alone to face their problems, they jump from one comfort zone to another in hopes to never have to shine a light on the bigger issue... themselves. One day they will, and they will finally understand the chaos they put you through. Until then, just focus on you babe, you got great things coming, I can feel it!
