Falling Apart Or Falling Into Place

Fall, the most wonderful time of the year! Bugs go back to whatever hell they came from, I don't have to worry about sweating my ass off every time I step outside, but most importantly everything changes, from leaves to the time to ourselves. Fall is a beautiful thing, it's the shedding of the old to make way for the new. Just like the leaves we as people change, we grow into our own, and pave the way for a better year. Some things I like to do to prepare for this is a cleanse, both mentally and emotionally. Whether it's purging your closet or setting goals for the upcoming year, or just doing some fall cleaning, all these help set you up for the new year to come. For those of you who have seasonal depression, now is a good time to start planning how you want to spend your evenings, it gets darker quicker and the stuff you usually do may not work out come November. Some things I suggest are getting a mood lamp, it resembles the sun and can help lift your moods when the days get dark. Also a diffuser, the smell of fresh cut grass or lemon can help make this transition a lot easier and help maintain your sanity 😆, also try opening windows or going outside even if it's for 15 mins a day, the fresh air will help boost your mood! A major change however, is the shedding of those people who only contribute negativity into your life. Now is a perfect time to ween your way out of their lives and start focusing on yourself and your ambition. Things may come to an end, but that just means there's room for bigger and better adventures! Let this changing of seasons be a reminder that you can change and adapt and become the best version of yourself!
